The Automotive Centre of Excellence flourishing as a workshop and event facility

Recently, Innova and Serge Ferrari held the Stamoid Marine Textiles 2012 Workshop at Kangan Institute's Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE) facilities.

Steve Szenay from the USA, was the enthusiastic presenter over the two days and Eddie Fontana (ACE trimming trainer) was a guest/student at the workshop where roughly 25 people from all over Victoria (predominately in coastal regions) were in attendance.

These people primarily work in the marine trimming industry. The workshop was designed to be informative and the students in attendance were said to have gained invaluable tips and advice, both from Steve and engagement with other attendees.

There were several French representatives from the Marine materials manufacturer Serge Ferrari also in attendance. The ACE also played host recently to an event held by Bosch late last month.

The event, titled 'Fusion Night', displayed the company's latest products to various industry architects. They had a number of different display stands set up with approximately 100+ attendees.

A cooking demo by Adam D'Sylva (who is a chef at Coda Bar and Restaurant and has appeared as guest on Masterchef) was also a success on the night. Management from Bosch were very happy with the success and had a high attendance of the event (as it reached capacity on the night).

In celebration of this success, Bosch is intending to hold a number of events at the ACE in the future. For more information please call Corporate Communications on 03 9094 3062/ 03 9094 3318.
