Join the next generation of fashion designers as they parade show stopping runway looks at Kangan Institute’s student fashion parade, Empower, in November.
Tickets are now available for the show, which will feature more than 80 looks created by Kangan Institute’s fashion design, millinery and hairdressing and beauty students. The event will be fully catered and serviced by bakery, hospitality and commercial cookery students.
“Our annual fashion show is an opportunity for students from our fashion, creative and professional industries courses to showcase their incredible work and gain vital experience in being part of a real life fashion show,” said Kangan Institute CEO Trevor Schwenke.
“More than 350 guests, including industry representatives and enthusiasts, attend our fashion parade every year to support our students and catch a glimpse of fashion futures as depicted by our talented designers.
“This year’s parade is gearing up to be an incredible celebration of talent and I encourage anyone interested in fashion to join us at the show.”
The show will feature various designs by VET in Schools, certificate, diploma and advanced diploma students, including sustainable favourites from Kangan Institute and Red Cross Shops’ Rags to Runway program, unique dog coats paraded by dogs from Guide Dogs Victoria, complete fashion graduate collections, millinery masterpieces and a stunning hair show.
