Kangan Institute’s Health and Community Centre of Excellence in Broadmeadows brings industry and world class training facilities together to set the standard for vocational health and community education in Australia. 

Partnering with industry and leveraging from best practise, Kangan Institute has created an innovative, flexible and sustainable Health and Community Centre of Excellence to train the next generation of health care and community workers. It offers partnership opportunities to support the growing demand in this industry.

The centre will:

  • provide best practice tech-enabled heath simulation spaces
  • enable greater capacity across a range of health and community offerings
  • facilitate greater engagement with industry
  • align with sustainability objectives
  • engage with community

Learning in state-of-the-art laboratories, simulation suites and specialist equipment, with access to virtual reality technology, students will also have access to placements through partnerships between Kangan Institute and its industry partners. 

Courses are available in aged care, mental health, disability, pathology, allied health, early childhood education and care, and justice.

Health and community courses are available in the heart of Broadmeadows.

Train in  state-of-the-art laboratories, simulation suites and specialist equipment, with access to virtual reality technology. Students will also have access to placements through partnerships between Kangan Institute and its industry partners.
