Kangan Institute launches NSW training for Jaguar Land Rover
Kangan Institute has launched training delivery in New South Wales as part of Jaguar Land Rover’s Global Apprenticeship Training Program for its apprentices.
This expansion follows on from Kangan Institute’s appointment as training partner for Jaguar Land Rover’s Global Apprenticeship Training Program that began in April 2019 for first year apprentices.
An Australian-first, the program provides training in Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30616) and Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology (AUR20218) to apprentice technicians at Kangan Institute’s Automotive Centre of Excellence in Docklands, Melbourne.
The program’s expansion to New South Wales will see training being delivered at Jaguar Land Rover facilities and will include second and third year apprentices.
Kangan Institute CEO Sally Curtain said the program enables Australian automotive apprentices to gain world-class skills and knowledge.
Welcoming the first batch of apprentices to the program in April.
