Three talented students at Kangan Institute have been shortlisted as finalists for the 2019 Victorian Training Awards.
Kangan Institute’s CEO Phill Murphy congratulated the students on being selected as finalists.
“The Victorian Training Awards is one of the state’s most important showcase events to celebrate the best in the TAFE and training sector,” he said.
“Being shortlisted as finalists demonstrates our students’ outstanding skills and abilities, as well as the great work by our teachers in helping them achieve their educational goals.”
The students are amongst 45 finalists across 16 categories, with results to be announced on Friday 6 September at the Victorian Training Awards gala event in Crown Palladium.

“It feels absolutely incredible to be shortlisted for Victorian Trainee of the Year.”
“Being a trainee has given me experience and skills I never would have had otherwise. I didn’t have the capacity to go to university or TAFE without some sort of income, so being able to earn money and learn at the same time has been amazing.”
