For people who have always dreamt of working with a multinational company such as one of the big four accounting firms, receiving the right training and support is often the best way to achieve it.

Meet Melissa Micevska, a Business graduate from Kangan Institute, who recently started work as an executive assistant with Ernst & Young.

“I obtained the position with my teachers’ help and recommendation,” she said.

“The teachers at Kangan Institute truly care about their students’ pathways and they support them in their job search once they finish studying.”

Pursuing a future in business and administration was an intuitive move for the 19-year-old who has always had an interest in the field.

“In high school I was not sure what I wanted to do for my career but I have always enjoyed business at school as I found it interesting and challenging. It can lead to many opportunities and different pathways,” said Melissa, who began her journey with business certificate courses.

“I wanted to advance my studies further so I decided to continue studying Business.”

According to Melissa, great teachers made all the difference to her learning experience.

“The best part about studying at Kangan Institute is that the teachers are very caring and want the best for students,” she said.

“I made friends in class, but I also made friends with my teachers who always helped if I had questions. The teachers helped me gain skills and knowledge and even helped me find a job after I finished studying.

“My future career goals are to progress to a manager or team leader position.”
