Saba was a teacher in Pakistan for 13 years. After moving to Australia, she wanted to continue working in the teaching sector and found Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213). A friend referred Kangan Institute.
“My advice for my future students is that Kangan is a great institute with dedicated, committed and supportive staff”, she says.
Saba’s favourite subjects are Support students with additional needs in the classroom environment (CHCEDS018) and Comply with legislative, policy and industrial requirements in the education environment (CHCEDS001). Applying the learning from these subjects in the placements has further developed her skills.
Regarding online classes, Saba adds, “I experienced different teaching methods applied by the teacher to make the class lively and enthusiastic, for instance, role plays and discussions in the breakout room. It was all greatly planned and implemented.”
Saba plans to get some work experience in the education sector after completing this course. She also plans to study a Certificate IV course in the future.
